SOMETIMES BEHAVE SO STRANGELY
this week, the Radio Lab podcast is a replay of the episode Musical Language, the one i heard because of scott simpson, the first 10 minutes of which (referenced in the title above) is the best piece of radio i’ve ever heard. if they gave awards for radio, this would win one. which they don’t. i haven’t fact checked that.
in related news, oliver sacks, who has lent his awesomeness to Radio Lab on occasion (who has lent his persona to the icon of my online presence in the form of the Great and Hairy-armed Simulacrum), has written a book. i will read it and i will sigh, reverently.
