TUMBLR 3 NEEDS…
FAVORITES. i’ll tell you what tumblr needs, since v3 rolls out tomorrow. Twitter lets me favorite a post i find clever, pertinent, or thought-provoking. i get to peruse other Twitter users’ favorites and discover new Twitter streams to follow.
the only way to give positive feedback to tumblr users is to “ReBlog” them or just good ol’ fashioned link to them. but what if i like a post and don’t want to have to republish it to express my liking of it? what if i want to know who else liked that post? what if i want to know who liked my posts? what if i want to know which tumblr users have the highest degree of shared likes with me?
that’s what tumblr needs. favorites. let’s see if karp can make that happen in the next two hours.
