I DON’T KNOW
Okay, yes I do. Recently, a friend mentioned JLC’s rack in “Trading Places” (1983) and of course I remembered it. I saw it at a very young age. This was a formative rack. It may very well have been one of my first racks. But for some reason, my memory of it was not at all titillating. And then it hit me: I’d been so simultaneously enthralled by JLC’s rack and disturbed by Dan Aykroyd’s bruises that my memory ended up melding them together.
