ABC on Buttocks: Excretory, Yes. Sexual, No.
In Long-since Forgotten Nude Buttock news, the FCC has just fined ABC stations $1.4 million for depicting two nude buttocks of an adult female person on a 2003 episode of its cop drama NYPD Blue.
The [FCC] said the show was indecent because “it depicts sexual organs and excretory organs — specifically an adult woman’s buttocks.”
The agency rejected the network’s argument that “the buttocks are not a sexual organ.”
