I have no affection for this horrible thing. In school, my video class was the very last one that had to actually try to negotiate this dinosaur. The next class got Avid DV Xpress.
Here’s another demo tape from 1994 featuring Video Toaster evangelists (“Toaster Punks”) Wil Wheaton, Penn Jillette, and Tony Hawk.
The Video Toaster is responsible for what would become the Kurosawa wipe transition of its time: the “Sexy Lady Pulls Down Window Shade”.
