Trailer Time
Here are some trailers worth watching.
Documentary:
- Greatest Movie Every Sold - Morgan Spurlock makes a doc about product placement subsidized entirely by product placement. The man has a gift. Can’t wait.
- Thunder Soul - You ever see Young @ Heart, the 2007 doc about an old folks choir? You’d remember if you had—it was the one where you cried for an entire day. This looks like that, except funk and younger, less white less old people. Can’t wait.
Coming-of-age: (Here are two movies handling the same subject matter in two very different ways. Which one do you want to see? Maybe both, but I kind of doubt it.)
- Terri
- The Art of Getting By
Note: Speaking of, did you see It’s Kind of a Funny Story? Very sweet movie. I guess Emma Roberts likes to play the object of angst-ridden teen affection. Zach G. is just wonderful. A real Robin Williams of his time (which I mean as high compliment).
Comedy:
- The Change-Up - Didn’t expect to laugh during this, and certainly didn’t expect to guffaw like a dork twice in the last 20 seconds. Sure enough, I can’t wait.
- Bridesmaids - Of course, Bridesmaids. No doy Bridesmaids.
Let’s go to the movies!
