Hai Karate aftershave commercial ca. 1960s
I’d never heard of Hai Karate, the proto-Axe Body Spray, until just now when Sam Malone brought it up in a rerun of Cheers called “The Magnificent Six”. Sammy pulls out his Babe Kit and identifies his special fragrance (his Sex Panther if you will) as “a blend of Old Spice, Hai Karate, and something that takes spots out”.
